Shadowbane – State of the Crush report
I just wrote and posted this on Grimwell Online just this past Friday, 12/26/03. No one seems to be writing a lot about Shadowbane, so I felt I should put an update out there. Shadowbane went on a diet last month, and so far, the old gal is looking great! Too bad appearances aren’t everything. […]
Continue readingPerceptions
This was originally written back in December, 2001 when I was actively playing DAoC. I have been looking for a copy of the text since I began the site, but couldn’t find it until today, hidden away in a backup folder I had forgotten about. At the time I wrote this, Hibernia was demonstratively the […]

I’m a wandering gamer, for those that don’t know (random linkers maybe, I should do a raw logs check to see if I get any interesting links a la Grimwell). I’ll probably never go back to AC1 ever again (not unless they give the graphics engine a complete overhaul with a future expansion, oh yeah, […]

Continue readingGive it up already!
So last night, I’m driving home from work, just as I usually do. Of course, since it’s January in Chicagoland, it’s fecking freezing here, and still dark. Winter wouldn’t be so bad if it weren’t for the cold. So anyways, I’m driving home, and part of my route runs along the Fox River here. The […]
Continue readingAnd so this is Christmas…
And what have I done? Well, so far, I’ve managed to yet again change the look of my website. This constant change amuses me for some obscure reason, not exactly sure why that is. If I put as much effort into leveling my character in AC2 as I do in redoing the look (not the […]
Continue readingMy Childhood Has been Sullied!
Well, not exactly sullied, really, more like reality has run roughshod over the memories. What I am I talking about? The lovely fall harvest tradition of getting a pumpkin for Halloween. This past weekend, the husband and I went to close our summer trailer for the season. Gorgeous fall day – clear blue sky, crisp, […]
